       Welcome to the North Thurston April 2001 Japan Trip. This year we took a 9 day trip to Yashiro, Japan, the sister city of Olympia. It was a blast! If you are an upcoming student at NTHS this is the perfect place to find out what we did. Prepare yourself for your, hopefully, own trip to Yashiro, Japan.


      North Thurston's band program consists of three bands, two concert bands and a jazz band. Each year, the Symphonic Band (Advanced) and Concert Band (Regular) combine to put together a marching routine which we take to competition. The Jazz Band participates in the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival in Idaho every year and puts on many fund raising concert performances.
